School pickup is the worst part of my week

We alternated pickup so we don't see each other at the school. We never said it was because of conflict — we just framed it as 'easier scheduling.' Months later it just feels normal.
What helped me — having something specific to do right after pickup. A 10-minute walk with the kids before getting in the car. The transition got better.
