ESA — landlord refusing my emotional support animal letter
Have a legit letter from my therapist. Landlord says it's not an ADA service animal. Is he allowed to refuse an ESA?

ESAs are covered by Fair Housing, not the ADA. A letter from a licensed mental health provider is what's required — landlords can verify the letter but not require a specific format. HUD has a complaint form.
