AB 1482 — am I covered or not

Heard CA has a cap on rent increases. Apartment was built in 1996. Single family rental. Does AB 1482 cover me?

Single-family rentals are exempt from AB 1482 ONLY if the landlord told you in writing within the lease that the property is exempt. If they didn't, you're covered. Pull your lease.
