It's the most-feared part and the least-bad part. Since COVID most 341s are conducted by video. You're sworn in. The trustee asks 6-15 standard questions: did you sign the petition under penalty of perjury, have you reviewed the schedules, is the income/asset information accurate, did anyone help you fill this out. Most meetings take 5-8 minutes. Creditors rarely show up. Bring: your ID, your Social Security card, your last 60 days of pay stubs, your most recent tax return. Your attorney should prep you with the exact question list. The single most important thing: tell the truth, even if a number was slightly off and needs amendment.

Mine took 6 minutes. The trustee was friendly. I built it up in my head as something it wasn't.
