Moved to escape. I don't want my new address in any court paper he can pull.

Two layers in CA. (1) On every form, use the Confidential Address Request (form CM-010 / CH-160 / DV-250 depending on case type) — this seals your address from the case file. (2) Enroll in the CA Secretary of State's Safe at Home program (free) — they give you a substitute mailing address that government agencies, schools, DMV all forward to. Setup takes ~45 minutes at any program-enrollment agency, often a DV organization. Together these two tools effectively remove your address from the searchable record.
Safe at Home enrollment page: sos.ca.gov/registries/safe-home. Most county DV agencies are enrolling agencies.
