What is an RFO and why do I need to file one

Lawyer says we need to file an RFO for temp support. I keep nodding like I know what that means. What is it?

Request for Order. It's the standard motion form for asking the court to do something specific — set support, change custody, enforce an order. Form FL-300 in California.
