Reconciliation while case is pending — does that pause it

We tried to reconcile for 6 weeks. It didn't work. Did that pause the 6 month clock or do I have to start over?

Six weeks won't reset the six month clock as long as you didn't formally dismiss the case. The clock runs from when respondent was served.
