Imputed income — they're saying I could earn more
I'm working part time and going to school. He's arguing I should be working full time and they should pretend I do. Is that a real thing?

Yes it's real but the court considers whether you have realistic full-time work available, your education, your child-care responsibilities. Going to school is usually a good reason to not be at full earning capacity.
