I came home to find our checking account at $12. He says it's his money because he earns it. I have nothing for rent next week. Is there anything I can do tonight?

Call 211 tonight if you have nothing for rent. They can connect you to emergency rent help. The legal piece can wait until morning.

This happened to me too. Standard family law restraining orders kick in the second a case is filed — they're not allowed to do this. The self-help center can show you what to file the next day.
