Discovered a hidden account AFTER the judgment was signed

CAquietsail1 month ago

Judgment was entered 8 months ago. Just found out he had a brokerage account he never disclosed. Is it too late?

Not too late. CA Family Code §1101 gives the omitted-asset spouse a remedy that can be 50% of the asset OR 100% as a sanction for breach of fiduciary duty if the omission was intentional. The case law (In re Marriage of Rossi being the famous one — woman won the lottery and didn't disclose) is strong. You file a post-judgment motion (RFO) under §1101 within three years of when you should have reasonably discovered the omission. Gather what you know about the account: statements, dates, balance estimates. Get a consult — this is a winnable motion with real consequences for the other side.
