I got my EBT card 5 days after applying — used 'expedited' service which is available if your monthly income + cash is under a threshold. Apply at getcalfresh.org (CA) or your state equivalent. Have your last pay stub, lease, and ID ready.

Expedited SNAP nationwide processes within 7 days if you qualify. Apply same day at your county social services office or online via your state's portal. 211 can also walk through the application by phone.
