Need therapy but $150/session is impossible right now. Any affordable options?
Open Path Collective ($30-$60/session sliding scale). 7 Cups (free peer + paid therapist tiers). Your local community mental-health center (sliding scale or free). Many graduate-program clinics offer $20-$40 sessions with supervised trainees — quality is often better than people expect.
If you have any insurance at all, BetterHelp / Talkspace aren't great but they take some insurance. Also — many religious communities offer free pastoral counseling if that's a fit.
211 can route you to local sliding-scale mental health services in your county. NAMI (nami.org/help) lists free support groups. SAMHSA helpline (1-800-662-4357) is also a free 24/7 resource.
