Order says my name is changed — what do I update first?

Court order in hand. What order do I update — Social Security, DMV, passport, bank?

Order I used: (1) Social Security first (free, in-person at any SSA office with the court order and ID), (2) DMV next (you need updated SSA records first or they kick it), (3) passport (DS-82 by mail, $130), (4) bank/credit cards last (most just need an SSA confirmation + ID). Took me about a month start to finish.

+1 to the SSA-first order. DMV told me they wouldn't process until SSA was updated.
