Supervised visitation — how does it actually work

Court ordered supervised visits with dad. Through an agency, $80/hr. He says he can't afford it. Do the visits just not happen?

Some courts allow a trusted family member (not friend) as monitor for free. Worth asking. Otherwise the agency fees are real. He has to pay, not you — but if he doesn't, the visits stop and that's documented.
