Kids' therapy — does ex have to consent
I want to put both kids in therapy. Joint legal custody. He says no. Can I still take them and pay for it myself or do I need an order?

Joint legal usually means both parents agree on major mental health decisions. You can ask the court for tie-breaker authority on therapy specifically. Some therapists will see a child with just one parent's consent for an evaluation only.
