I'm in CA, two kids, just left an abusive marriage. Caseworker meeting next week. What do I need to bring?

Bring ID, kids' birth certs, proof of address, rent receipt, paystubs (if any), and bank statements. They'll ask about violence — be honest because that can speed up emergency cash. The intake itself takes most of a day.
