In CA, Family Code §4061-§4063 says work-related childcare and 'uninsured medical' are mandatory add-ons split between parents (usually 50/50 unless the order specifies otherwise). Discretionary add-ons (extracurriculars, private school) require an agreement or court order. Best practice: keep receipts in a shared folder, send a reimbursement request within 30 days of each expense, and pay your half within 30 days of receipt. Put that 30/30 cadence in your judgment if you can.
