Yes, you can file. Bankruptcy itself is not a 'good moral character' issue for naturalization under USCIS practice — courts and Congress encourage the use of the bankruptcy code as a legitimate financial tool. What CAN be an issue is if the debts were incurred fraudulently or if the bankruptcy reveals tax non-filing. Most green-card holders file Ch 7 with no immigration impact. Pair this with an immigration consult if you have any pending application.
Co-signing Adina. From the immigration side — bankruptcy by itself doesn't impair naturalization. The N-400 asks about taxes and child support, not bankruptcy directly. The pattern that hurts an N-400 is unpaid taxes or unpaid child support, not legitimate use of the bankruptcy code.
